What to do in Comodoro Rivadavia, Patagonia Argentina

Main Activities

The Well Nº 2 in the neighborhood General Mosconi, where the petroleum sprouted December 13 1907 for the first time (national day of the petroleum).
The Museum of the Petroleum, in charge of the University of San Juan Bosco, where the different stages of the cycle of exploitation of the petroleum are shown.
The hill Chenque from whose summit a beautiful view of the city is obtained and of the costs of the gulf San Jorge.
Excursions
To Rada Tilly: 13 kilometers to the south of Commodore Rivadavia. It is a summer village flanked by hills that go into in the sea, with very wide beaches of fine sand that allow a series of sport activities. One of them is the wind-car, they are cars of 3 wheels with a veil that takes advantage of the intense winds of the area.
To the fishing port Caleta Córdoba: located 18 kilometers to the north of Comodoro Rivadavia, where they are installed the companies that exploit the fishing industry. It is a very interesting and picturesque walk.
