The Via Australis cruise was built back in 2005 by ASENAV shipyard company and at that time it was the new twin brother for the already running and famous Mare Australis.
The vessel has 64 exterior cabins that can hold a maximum of 136 passengers distributed in four decks. The cabins are 161 square feet in size (15 square meters) and each cabins features: big window for great exterior view, private bathroom, independent A/C heat, low beds, safe box and closet.
During the all inclusive programs the passengers will have the chance to see amazing landscapes: mountains, forests, glaciers, and also a variety of wildlife: sea birds, seals, sea lions, penguins, whales, etc.
The purpose of the Zodiac boats is to take you closer to the hot spots along the journey. These very safe and stable boats will allow you to do some water excursions approaching for example some amazing glaciers, and also to disembark in key places for a wonderful hike.
The Via Australis covers four different routes, and here you'll find a rough itinerary for every one of them:

Day 2:

Other than that all routes are fairly similar.

This small cruise is awesome. The routes are outstanding and the landscapes are certainly impressive.
After dinner it is so good to sit at the lounge with a drink, having a great time with other passengers; the staff is great and will make the evening even more pleasant and fun
