Transfers

- Frrom El Calafate airport to the hotel (and viceversa)
- To/from the bus terminal (including bus tickets to/from El Chalten and to/from Puerto Natales)
- To/from Puerto Natales, Torres del Paine, El Chalten (private)
- to/from Punta Bandera (to take the cruises to Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers)

Day Tours

Perito Moreno glacier - classic (full day)

Pick up at the hotel after breakfast and departure toward 'Los Glaciares' National Park located one hour and 30 minutes away from El Calafate downtown.
Stop at the entrance of the park where the guide will pay the entry fees, then continuing to 'Bajo Las Sombras' pier embarking to approach the Perito Moreno glacier with amazing views from the water level (45 minutes).
Later on we'll head to the front balconies being able to have many views from many angles on the imposing glacier, the stay here will last up to 3 hours.
You'll be able to take lunch at the front balconies or your box lunch.
Return to El Calafate during the afternoon, taking us back to the hotel.

Mini Trekking Perito Moreno (full day)

This will add the following features to the classic tour: crossing the 'Rico' arm of the lake Argentino and disembarking on the other side.
We'll make a short hike to the edge of the glacier where the guides will assist us in putting the crampons on our feet.
We'll then start the ice-trek over the impressive Perito Moreno glacier which will last more than an hour.
At the end of the ice-trek we'll enjoy a scotch toast with glacier ice, then we'll take out the crampons returning to the refuge where we can take the box lunch and later on embarking to cross back and head to the front balconies, where the time here will be less than an hour.

Upsala navigations (full day)

Departure from El Calafate after breakfast at the hotel, heading to Punta Bandera where we'll embark in a fast and comfortable catamaran style boat.
We'll navigate the north of the lake Argentino heading to Upsala glacier, visiting also Spegazzini and other glaciers as well.
While getting closer to the glaciers we'll enjoy the images of amazing ice floes with beautiful shapes and astonishing colors.
In some navigations we are able to disembark at Estancia Cristina, hiking to Upsala viewpoint and having the chance of a great Patagonian meal in the ranch and some other activities.
According to conditions these navigations may also stop at Onelli bay.

Other day tours

There are a couple of other possible activities while at El Calafate:
A half day 4WD tour to the hills in the surroundings with nice views and landscapes on the whole area and the lake Argentino, traveling about 35 kilometers and climbing to 1,050 meters.
There is a chance also to take a horseback ride to Nimez lagoon (usually 3 hours long), and also to visit some of the 'estancias' in the area, enjoying typical Patagonian meals, ranch activities, short hikes, etc.
